Fusion Scooters
Sunday, April 8th, 2007The Fusion scooter, which is also known as the Helix scooter, became an instant hit with the people in
Honda came up with the Fusion scooter because there seemed to be a market for the people who enjoyed riding longer distances but wanted the smaller scale bike which was offered in scooters. The Fusion is larger than a traditional style scooter but is capable of holding up for the longer rides while still offering rider comfort.
The Fusion scooters offer easy operation and they are a lot lighter in weight than a traditional motorcycle. The only possible drawback is they are larger than most scooters and can be a little difficult to handle at slow speeds such as in parking lots or heavy traffic.
The Fusion CN250 is capable of going on a 1000 mile tour without causing any stress to the engine. They offer an odometer, fuel gauges, temperature gauges, and a trunk which is quite handy for storage. Many people use these machines for their local errands as well as for traveling. The Honda name means dependability so there is little worry about breakdowns. The main concern was the rear tire usually only had a life of 5000 miles.
With the larger size and longer range capability of the Fusion scooter, there are many people who have formed scooter clubs. These clubs can be found across the country and they will often organize functions such as scooter rallies or swap meets. The rising gas prices are driving more and more people to look for cheaper options for travel. These larger scooters used to only attract the older crowd but now are also attracting the younger set.
