Safety on a Kick Razor Scooter

Thursday, March 8th, 2007

Even though Kick Razor Scooter is not new to the market, whenever they are on the market they usually makes a big stir among many. The last several years were no exception. The fun that can be gain from using this handy method of transport is unlike any other and you can only fully understand the attraction to them until you yourself have used one. However, as with many other transporting machines, there are certain safety rules that we should pay attention to in order to protect those around us and of course to protect ourselves.

Helmet

Time and time again we have been told that we should never ride without the appropriate helmet, yet many of us do not adhere to this brain protecting warning and in some States, the law requires it. Helmets do protect our heads from serious injuries, and it has been shown that by wearing a helmet it could have prevented about 85% of head injuries. It does not and in a large portion, matters how slow we are riding on our Kick Razor Scooter; it is fast enough to cause serious brain injuries. So please wear a bicycle helmet whenever you are using your scooter.

Lights and Bells

There are lights selling on the market that are specially made for Kick Razor Scooter. These lights can be placed inside of the handlebars of the scooter and there are also those lights that are to be placed around the wheels of the scooter. These lights will help to increase the visibility of you and your scooter. There are also bells that can be placed on the handlebar as well. These bells will certainly come in handy, especially when you are travelling behind someone who is obvious to your presence.
