Accessories

Not all of the electric mobility scooters on the market are built in a manner to accommodate accessories. Accessories such as a basket to be placed at the front of it or a mini trailer that can be attached to the back. These will come in handy when you are making a trip to the supermarket etc.

Size of the Machine

Since there are various sizes of electric mobility scooters, it will be a good idea to “try out” a few of them first, before you make your final decision. As you are “trying them out” you can ask yourself several questions. Questions such as, how comfortable are you in the seat. Comfortable in terms of the seat level, that is, is the seat too high, or is it a bit too low for you. What about the stability of the scooter, is it a bit too shaky or is it sturdy enough? You should also consider the overall size of the machine to see if it can enter and exit your home easily.
